Job Description
Job Summary
- The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance, repair, and improvement projects across multiple locations. This role manages project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, providing leadership and direction to field technicians and subcontractors. This position requires strong technical knowledge of building systems, as well as the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously while traveling to various job sites.
General Accountabilities
- Utilizes solution-based construction management strategies to complete projects
- Organizes the individuals and subcontractors necessary to complete the job and coordinates all schedules as required.
- Ensures that the project moves forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, making changes and adjustments as necessary.
- Evaluates, recommends and implements procedures for data acquisition, management and quality control.
- Evaluates and recommends statistical methods for data analysis, and monitors and interprets results of analysis.
- Motivates and monitors the progress of work performed by project staff.
- Interfaces with funding agencies to exchange information regarding project status and to build and maintain rapport to enhance opportunities for additional funding.
- Plans and participates in meetings, discussion groups and other types of events to promote project visibility.
- Serves as a key resource for project information and resolves problems or questions referred by internal and external sources.
- Conducts final inspections and reports for the project.
- Travels to job sites to confirm work, coordinate with team.

Requirements:Job Qualifications
- Education: High school degree or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in relevant fields of Engineering, Project Management, Business Management preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or related field, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or project coordination role
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate field technicians, contractors, and vendors across multiple job sites
- Hands-on experience with commercial and/or industrial building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and general construction practices
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to plan and execute projects
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Active Driver's License with clean driving record
Experience and Education may be substituted for one another depending upon experiences.
Physical Requirements
- Site Environment - site work will require ability to navigate uneven project site terrain, ability to climb ladders/scaffolding, walk up and down stairs, ability to lift 50 lbs
