Position: CLIENT CARE MANAGER - - Autism and Related Services
Salary Range: $65,000–$80,000FULL-TIME • EXEMPT • IN-PERSON • FRONT DESK • ABINGDON & ESSEX, MD

• Schedule: Monday–Friday; evenings and weekends required

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an organized, detail-driven Client Care Manager with healthcare and administrative experience to support our client services team. This role coordinates authorizations, insurance processes, scheduling, compliance, and front-desk operations while providing professional and empathetic service. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Operational Management
- Oversee daily program operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage scheduling of staff, program services, and Client appointments.
- Ensure smooth Client flow and minimize wait times by optimizing operational processes.
- Oversee utilization management processes to maximize resource allocation and ensure cost-effective care delivery.
- Coordinate credentialing for providers to maintain compliance with licensing and payer requirements.
- Implement and monitor billing follow-up processes to ensure timely claim resolution and maximize revenue.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase Client volume, community engagement, and service visibility.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and standards.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and implement staff development programs.
- Resolve workplace conflicts and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Schedule staff to align with program needs and ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Monitor and manage program budgets, financial reports, and billing practices.
- Ensure financial targets are met through cost control, revenue enhancement, and efficient resource utilization.
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance reimbursement processes, addressing any issues to prevent delays or denials.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and third-party payers to optimize program resources.
- Maintain high standards for Client care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Address Client complaints, resolve service-related issues, and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Develop and manage Client care programs to enhance outcomes and experiences.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state-specific regulations.
- Develop and implement quality control programs to maintain and improve Client care standards.
- Lead efforts to maintain accreditation and prepare Brighter Stronger Foundation for audits and inspections.
- Analyze program performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to improve efficiency, expand service offerings, and increase Client volume.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate innovative practices to enhance program operations.
- Act as the main point of contact between program staff, physicians, and management.
- Coordinate with external partners, including insurance companies, suppliers, and healthcare organizations.
- Serve as a liaison between Brighter Stronger Foundation and the community, promoting services and building relationships.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
• Healthcare and administrative experience, preferably in behavioral health or a related service environment.
• Working knowledge of authorizations, insurance processes, scheduling coordination, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Professional, empathetic communication skills with clients, families, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, proactively resolve issues, and follow through to completion.
• Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related Field and a minimum of 5 yrs experience or Master Degree and 3 yrs experience
