About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior R&D Tax Associate to join our rapidly growing tax practice. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering and expanding Redpath’s R&D tax credit services. You’ll work closely with clients across a variety of industries, helping them identify and claim valuable federal and state tax incentives while gaining visibility and mentorship within a collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

    Support the development and execution of R&D tax credit engagements

    Assist clients in identifying, qualifying, documenting, and maximizing R&D tax credit opportunities

    Conduct tax research and analyze technical tax issues related to R&D and other incentives

    Participate in and help manage day-to-day engagement execution and project implementation

    Collaborate with internal teams and serve as a subject matter resource on R&D tax credits

    Build trusted client relationships and support business development initiatives

What You Bring

    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)

    CPA or advanced degree/certification (MST, LLM, JD) preferred

    3–6 years of experience in public accounting or tax consulting, with exposure to R&D tax credits

    Familiarity with tax credits and incentives (e.g., IRC 179D, IRC 45L, cost segregation, etc.) a plus

    Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

    Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
