Job Description
Position Summary: The Eaglet Club Supervisor serves a dual role, working as an aide in an early education classroom during school hours and supervising after school care (Eaglet Club) for early education students (3–5-year-olds) after school.
Responsibilities:
Primary:
Eaglet Club Supervisor – 50%
- Plan and execute engaging activities for children which allow them to explore, play and be creative.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and during after school programming.
- Oversee children in the gym and outside on the playground to ensure safety while they play.
- Supervise Eaglet Club support staff.
- Reinforce positive behavior and classroom expectations in a loving and consistent manner.
- Communicate professionally and warmly with children, families, and staff.
- Ensure that all safety and staffing protocols are followed according to licensing guidelines.
- Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.
Classroom Aide – 50%
- Help teacher(s) conduct small group instruction.
- Provide one-on-one support for struggling students.
- Assist teacher(s) in daily classroom activities.
- Walk students to/from specials, gym, recess and other activities.
- Mintor lunch and recess.
- Manage discipline issues.
- Supervise students in before/after school care programs.
- Restock classroom supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom.
- Assist with bulletin boards and hallway displays.
- Assist the teacher(s) with parent and family engagement and communication.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification.
Experience:
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in early childhood or elementary classrooms.
- In Accordance with MN Rule 3, must be teacher qualified.

Travel: This position requires some local travel.
Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment and will routinely use standard office equipment such computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. The work environment also involves working in a Preschool-12 Private Christian School and Evangelical Church environment and all employees are expected to have a demonstrated and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Working Hours: Typically, employees are expected to work during normal hours and days of business, between Monday and Friday. Specific expectations for each position will be communicated by the supervisor of this position. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required. This position works 40 hours per week and 9 months of the year.
