Exciting news! We're looking for a Test Technician I to join our Test Department. Working Schedule: Full-time, 7:00AM - 5:30PM M-TH, with Friday OT.
$24.40/hr - 27.45/hr
Requirements:Summary
Responsible for conducting a variety of tests and inspections to ensure the quality and performance of environmental test chambers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Completes all required final test procedures for systems, following established guidelines and meeting deadlines.
· Connects and disconnects electrical, liquid nitrogen, and compressed air utilities, following established procedures.
· Sets up main transformer for non-standard voltages.
· Works on all chambers models.
· Reads and interprets company electrical schematics with minimal assistance.
· Independently installs controller software and firmware across all controller platforms.
· Performs standard chamber thermal and vibration calibrations on environmental chambers.
· Performs hi-pot ground impedance testing.
· Operates environmental chambers using system software.
· Performs voltage and amperage checks using electrical meters.
· Utilizes data acquisition software for thermal and vibration calibrations.
· Installs and verifies optional chamber features according to customer specifications (e.g., data acquisition, remote monitoring software).
· Diagnoses and resolves routine equipment malfunctions.
· Initiates corrective action procedures for non-conformances identified during final testing.
· Completes all required documentation accurately and efficiently using company provided forms.
· Uses hand tools for routine duties.
· Assists with cleaning chambers to prepare for shipping.
· Moves chambers in and out of the test area.
· Performs general test maintenance.
· Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment.
· Regular, physical attendance is required.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Skills and Experience
· Minimum of 1 year of technical experience in a manufacturing environment required.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
· Basic computer skills required.
· Prior use of Microsoft Office Suite including (Word, Excel, Email) required.
