Job Description
EEC Solutions is looking for a Doctrine and Strategic Guidance Instructor / SME to support a possible upcoming contract at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), NJ.
Note: We are seeking resumes for a proposal opportunity. This position is contingent upon contract award. Candidates currently living in a HubZone designated area are encouraged to apply. Only the candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be considered.
Position Description:
Serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) and instructor for Doctrine, Strategic and Regulatory Guidance, and Strategic Theory topics in support of the Air Advisor Academic curriculum at the USAF Expeditionary Center. Develops, updates, and delivers instruction on National Security Strategy, Irregular Warfare, COIN, FID, Security Force Assistance, and related subjects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction and evaluations on Doctrine, Strategic/Regulatory Guidance, and Theory (NSS, NDS, GEF, applicable DoD and service regulations, IW, BPC, SFA, FID, Stability Operations, COIN, CT, Theater Campaign Planning).
• Teach subjects including, but not limited to: Strategic Guidance for Air Advisors, Aviation Enterprise Development, Theater Guidance, IW Fundamentals, Insurgency Fundamentals, COIN Fundamentals, FID, and Systems Thinking.
• Develop, update, revise, and deliver curriculum and courseware IAW USAF EOS-established policy.
• Liaison with Air Force Geographic Component Commands, HAF, MAJCOMs, C-NAFs, other services, interagency, intergovernmental, and NGOs to ensure curriculum remains current and relevant.
• Serve as focal point and SME for doctrine and strategic guidance; assist in other disciplines as directed by the Site Manager.
• Complete USAF EOS instructional methods course (Academic Instructor Course or approved substitute); maintain 180 hours of instruction within the first year.
• Maintain satisfactory or above ratings on Government-administered instructor evaluations.
• Participate in professional development activities and attend meetings, conferences, and symposiums related to area of expertise.
• Prepare classroom, ensure equipment is functional, begin lessons on time, and conduct student evaluations per syllabi and lesson plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Deployed as a Military Advisor, Pol-Mil Affairs Strategist (PAS), Regional Affairs Strategist (RAS), FAO, PRT member, attaché, or Security Cooperation Officer (or equivalent advisory role); served on a DoD Major Command Staff or higher for at least two years.
- Completion of Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister service school equivalent (in-residence or by correspondence).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; CAC required within two weeks of start date.
- Verification of advisory deployment experience and MAJCOM-level staff service required.
