As a resourceful self-starter and leader who shares FINN’s Work Hard-Play Nice values, a vice president in our strategic communications practice will have the opportunity to:
- Provide strategic counsel to C-suite executives as a trusted advisor, helping clients reach and exceed their goals
- Be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, working with local and national B2B, finance and enterprise clients with an emphasis on corporate communications
- Work on integrated marketing and communication campaigns that reward out-of-the-box thinking
- A minimum of 8 years of agency experience and the ability to efficiently lead multiple clients simultaneously; Proficiency in strategic communications for clients in financial or professional services industries is not required but is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of client service, including development of PR/integrated communication strategies and plans; media pitching; content development; digital, influencer and social media campaigns; project and team management; reporting and budget management
- Successfully developed and implemented impactful, brand-building programs and campaigns spanning traditional and new media, social media, influencer, and digital platforms
- Proven success in corporate, employee and executive communications with strong oral and written communications skills
- Experience in media and spokesperson training, crisis planning and management
- Passion for mentoring and helping junior team members grow
- Creativity, ingenuity, and an initiative-taking attitude
- A bachelor’s degree in public relations, business, communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field
