Armed Security Officer (Contract-to-Hire) at Grey Dog Security LLC – Cassopolis, Michigan

We are seeking Armed Contract security guards in Cassopolis, MI—independent contractors (1099) for a posting that runs from May 2026 to December 2026. Applicants must have open availability, including weekends and flexible shift hours, and be ready to provide security services at a range of public events.

Key Responsibilities

· Patrol Duties: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security breaches.

· Access Control: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of the premises.

· Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to identify potential threats or unusual behavior.

· Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms and disturbances; assess situations, provide assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.

· Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting any irregularities, safety concerns, or security breaches.

· Emergency Assistance: Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and assist in emergency evacuations or other critical situations.

· Weapon Maintenance: Ensure that all assigned protective equipment, including firearms, are maintained in excellent working condition and used responsibly.

· High school Diploma or GED

· Valid Michigan CPL

· Clean background check

· Must be 18years of age or older
