Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and strengths.
- Collaborate closely with a team of professionals, including BCBAs and SLPs, to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
- Engage with families to provide guidance and support, empowering them to reinforce therapy goals at home.
- Conduct regular assessments to track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages children to explore and grow.
- Document therapy sessions and progress notes accurately to maintain clear communication with the team and families.
- Stay informed about the latest research and techniques in pediatric occupational therapy to enhance service delivery.
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that cater to each child's unique needs and strengths.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including BCBAs and SLPs.
- Strong communication skills to engage and guide families, empowering them to support therapy goals at home.
