Lincoln, NE Plant 2 - Production Associate -Assembly (1st & 2nd shifts)

Summary/Objective

Responsible for assisting the molding team and performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Essential Roles

• Support shift lead and area supervisor.
• Requires flexibility to learn new positions anywhere in the company as needed.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment.
• Perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test liquid management products.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to r Assembly Lead
• Be ready and able to learn new builds and procedures.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Ability to use basic ABAS time capture functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The employee is frequently exposed to heat, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position requires standing for extended periods of time, and walking, and bending. The employee will regularly be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English, bilingual preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing plastics, injection molding or blow molding preferred, but not required.
