Warehouse Associate at Backyard Products, LLC – North Kansas City, Missouri

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for: loading and unloading product and lumber, pulling kits for upcoming builds, and assisting with inventory and ensuring completeness of day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities: (Other duties as assigned)

• Load and unload product using a forklift or other equipment.
• Loading builders and shop trucks accurately and efficiently
• Assist with inventory, schedules, adjustments, and tracking.
• Cut and prepare lumber using power tools such as; panel saw and chop saw for upcoming builds.
• Pulling orders and lumber with accuracy for upcoming builds.
• Communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and in written formats.
• Keeps warehouse area clean and organized.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse responsibilities such as: loading and unload product using a forklift
• Familiarity with construction and/or building materials (Knowledge of the construction industry or installed services is preferred)
• Inventory Control
• Valid drivers' license

Work Environment:
Operates in a professional office environment as well as within a manufacturing environment subject to inside environmental conditions and noise. Often required to sit, use repetitive hand motion, hear, listen, talk, stand, and walk. Often required to climb stairs, reach overhead, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
