An Inspector evaluates the work activities of the housekeeping team by assessing the cleanliness of guestrooms, bathrooms, and public areas, ensuring that the property is consistently presented in a clean and well-maintained condition for every guest.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure standards are met and exceeded.
• Communicate with management of issues within guest rooms or public space areas. Looking for patterns and assisting in the coaching/training process of Room Attendants as directed by the Department Manager.
• Support Room Attendants as needed in ensuring they have the appropriate supplies and tools necessary to do their job.
• Communicate closely with the Front Desk as to the status of rooms and guest requests to ensure guest satisfaction
• Other job-related duties, as assigned.

• Exceptional attention to detail is required to ensure perfection in the inspection of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Basic computer skills are essential.
• The ability to coach and train fellow associates is necessary.
• Proven ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and perform well under pressure.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on occasion.
