After School Physical Education Part Time Teacher at GPS Solutions LLC – Dearborn Heights, Michigan

Job Title: Physical Education Extended Day Teacher
Status: Temporary, Part-Time
Location: Tawheed School Center
Schedule:

• Program Duration: 6 weeks

• Workdays: Monday – Thursday (4 days per week)

• Daily Hours: 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM (1.25 hours per day)

• Additional Time: Staff receive 4 pre-prep hours to prepare for program activities.

The Extended Day Physical Education Staff member supports student learning during out-of-school time by facilitating structured physical education activities that promote student wellness, engagement, and social-emotional development. This role helps create a positive and supportive environment while encouraging teamwork, physical activity, and healthy habits aligned with schoolwide goals.

Required:

• Minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR

• Passing score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s)

• Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements

Required:

• Experience working with children in a school, after-school, or summer school setting

Preferred:

• Valid Michigan Teaching or Administrative Certification
