About the role
This consultant will develop and support clinical reporting scripts for T1D Exchange in collaboration with multiple healthcare providers within the United States. The role will work across various Epic modules to design, build, validate, and optimize clinical reports that support quality, compliance, operational efficiency, and clinical decision-making.
This fully remote role is ideal for a seasoned Epic professional who thrives in a flexible consulting environment and enjoys partnering with diverse clinical and operational teams.
What you'll do
Primary Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders across multiple health systems to understand reporting needs.
· Design, build, and maintain Epic clinical reports using tools such as:
o Reporting Workbench (RWB)
o Radar dashboards
o Clarity & Caboodle (preferred)
o SlicerDicer
· Translate business requirements into scalable, accurate reporting solutions.
· Perform data validation, testing, and documentation for all deliverables.
· Provide subject matter expertise on Epic data structures, workflows, and reporting best practices.
· Support ad-hoc reporting requests and ongoing optimization initiatives.
· Communicate progress, risks, and timelines clearly with project teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· Epic certification in one or more reporting-related areas (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle, RWB, Cogito).
· Minimum **3–5 years of Epic reporting experience within clinical domains.
· Strong understanding of Epic data models and clinical workflows.
· Proficiency with SQL and data validation techniques.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
· Experience supporting multiple health systems or consulting clients.
· Familiarity with quality reporting and regulatory programs.
Work Structure & Compensation
· Project-based expected engagement of 10–30 hours per week,
· Flexible, project-based assignments.
· This is a non-exclusive engagement
· Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
· Fully remote role (North America only).
· $75 - $125 per hour.
