Job Description
Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders (DCND), one of the largest physician owned and operated private practices in Ohio, is seeking a Call Team Medical Center Representative to be based primarily remotely but who lives in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. The Call Team Medical Center Representative is responsible for answering a multi-level call queue to provide support to patients in regards to scheduling, insurance, balances and to transfer calls to other departments when needed. The position's hours are Monday - Friday from 8:15 - 4:45 - no holidays or weekends!
Only applicants local to the Dayton/Cincinnati area will be considered. There will be times when it is necessary to work on site, sometimes unexpectedly. For example, if there are technical issues at the work from home location (i.e., Wi-Fi issues), the employee will be required to return to the office to complete their work day. Also, some trainings and meetings require the employee to be on site, including the first day of work which is in person all day.

This Position Requires:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Drivers' License
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background and drug screen
- Immunization for Tuberculosis (TB) or willingness to be vaccinated on the first day of employment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum of 2 years of medical office experience
- Experience working with Athena health insurance coverages
- Experience working in a remote work environment
- Understanding of HIPPA, Section 1557, Interpreter Policy, Code of Conduct, and Fraud
Key Job Responsibilities
- Answering the multi-line call queue, monitoring wait times, and limiting dropped calls
- Appropriately screen calls prior to transferring to other departments
- Review and advise patients of balances
- Create patient cases and document notes from patient interactions appropriately
- Ensure schedules are filled and communicate with senior schedulers on provider's availability
(M-F) 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. - Hours could vary depending on the needs of the company and for in-person trainings/meetings
