About This Position
Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Shelf-Life/Disposal Lead to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Leadand oversee all shelf-life material contained within all NMRLC warehouses.
- Lead the disposal and turn-in of all excess, expired, damaged, obsolete, and unserviceable material.
- Ensure all shelf-life and disposal requirements are performedin accordance withDoD, U.S. Navy, NMRLC, and PWS requirements.
- Perform weekly and monthly analysis and verification of shelf-life material to extendexpirationdatesin accordance withpublished standards.
- Identifystock discrepancies, improperly coded items, expired material, damaged stock, improper stowage, and incorrect labeling.
- Ensure proper testing and shelf-life extension procedures arebeing followed.
- Coordinate with NMRLC Supply Division andsupportingentities to execute and track procurement of shelf-life material.
- Conduct reviews of shelf-life maintenance procedures and report stock discrepancies tomaintainrequired stock levels.
- Review shelf-life transaction records to ensure all documents are completedaccuratelyand all applicable databases are updated correctly.
- Research medical alert and recall messages related to shelf-life material using DMLSS or other military databases of record.
- Coordinate recalls, alerts, and affected products with Government personnel and impacted work centers.
- Support re-warehousing of materialin accordance withGovernment stow plans.
- Perform inventory control work, including annual inventories, location surveys, physical inventories, material handling, stock examinations, and record revisions.
- Perform Pick, Pack, Preserve, and Crate (PPP&C) functions for kitting and shipping EXMEDS material.
- Perform administrative duties including documentation review, data correction, spreadsheet/database entry, email coordination, and electronic file maintenance.
- Support disposal and turn-in of unserviceable shelf-life material, supplies, equipment, and furniture.
- Review disposal and turn-in documentation and verify correct material and quantities prior to turn-in to DLADS / DLA Disposition Services.
- Operate material handling equipment asrequired.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Experience
- HighSchool Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience leading staff and execution of shelf-life management operations, includingvarious typesof shelf-life material such as pharmaceuticals, medical surgical consumables, industrial HAZMAT, collective protection material, narcotics, and cold chain material.
- Knowledge and experience performing shelf-life extension of Type II (extendable) materialin accordance withShelf-Life Extension Program (SLEP) standards.
- Knowledge and experience with disposal operations, including identification of obsolete, excess, expired, and unserviceable material.
- Knowledge of proper disposal methods through DLA Disposition Services (DLADS), reverse distributors, local destruction, incineration, HAZWASTE disposal, and disposal of IT material.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and database documentation.
Additional Requirements
- Mustbe able tooperatevarious typesof material handling equipment.
- A valid driver’s license to drive stand-up and 4–6K forklifts.
- Strong documentation review and discrepancy reconciliation skills.
- Experience utilizing DMLSS and other military systems of record.
