Product Cost Manager at Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. – Ft Worth, Texas

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of quotation, order, and change calculations
• Support for global sales team in the preparation of quotations regarding product configuration and quotation strategy
• Conducting price and value analyses and evaluating open book calculations
• Evaluation of alternative manufacturing processes and methods
• Defining Cost Down potential and coordinating the necessary deviation management
• Reviewing development concepts for cost plausibility
• Collaborating within interdisciplinary project teams: ensuring cost transparency and developing decision templates

Qualifications:

• Degree in industrial engineering or comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in technical sales or product costing, ideally in the aviation industry
• Good knowledge of product and project management
• Very confident use of MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Experience with the Siemens TC-PLM platform and SAP desirable
• Very good German and English skills
• Analytical thinking, organizational skills, strong communication skills, and proactivity
