Behavior Technician at Kreative Community Services – Vacaville, California

POSITION: Behavior Technician (BT)
TIME / STATUS: Full Time, Mon-Fri 9am-3pm, no weekends or holidays
LOCATION: Vacaville, CA
COMPENSATION: $18-$25/hour, dependent on experience
BENEFITS: Health, dental, life insurance, vacation and sick pay
EXPERIENCE: Experience with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is required

QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school degree, GED, or certificate of completion
A minimum of 18 years of age
Criminal record (background check) clearance required
Medical clearance and negative TB test required
Authorization to work in the US
Fluent in English
Comfortable utilizing various technology and software
Commitment to regular and timely attendance

JOB DUTIES:
Direct support for individuals with disabilities who require enhanced behavior support
Assist individuals with service and support needs
Ensure the health and safety of all clients by adhering to standard procedures
Provide necessary physical assistance as needed
Implement program plans and provide behavioral intervention within the community
Encourage participant expression of preferences, choices, and maximize skills
Maintain required training/documentation (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
Attend training/team meetings
Complete and submit required paperwork
Follow KCS policies and procedures
