Shift: 1st Shift
Friday Services is hiring an Office and Accounting Specialist for our manufacturing client in Asheville, 28806. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys learning new tasks, working cross-functionally, and supporting multiple departments in a casual manufacturing environment.
Office experience is required. Relevant experience may supersede formal education requirements. Training will be provided on the company's ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
Enter customer and supplier invoices into the ERP system
Ensure proper invoice distribution to customers
Invoice tooling and special project items
Track accounts receivable and payable activity
Report updates to the CFO/leadership team
Maintain current product pricing in the system
Assist with inventory control and cost tracking
Systems & Office Functions
Utilize Microsoft Office daily (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel
Manage email communication and correspondence
Cross-Training & Backup Duties (Training Provided)
Receive incoming raw materials into the system
Set up outgoing customer shipments, including sea freight
Coordinate trucks using customer freight carriers
Take customer calls when Customer Service is unavailable
Communicate directly with customers as needed
Assist Purchasing with ordering and scheduling materials
Qualifications
Prior office or administrative experience required
Invoicing, accounting, or ERP experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
