About This Position

Position Title: Finance Manager - Bilingual (Portuguese)
Description:

About this opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to support strategic financial planning and serve as a key finance partner across the organization. This role combines traditional FP&A leadership responsibilities with a unique opportunity to work closely with our Brazil entity, helping connect U.S. leadership with international operations.

In this position, you will play an important role in financial planning, analysis, and operational decision-making, while also serving as a financial bridge between U.S. leadership and our Brazil entity. You will help translate business objectives, financial results, and operational insights across geographies, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate is both a strong financial analyst and a collaborative partner—comfortable working across teams, cultures, and functions while delivering clear financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. This person needs to be fully fluent (written and speaking) at a professional level in both English and Portuguese.

Your Key Contributions in This Role Will Be:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Support the company’s financial planning processes, including annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial planning.

  • Develop and maintain financial models that evaluate business performance and support operational decision-making.

  • Partner with leadership to align financial plans with company strategy and operational priorities.

  • Monitor financial performance against plan and identify key drivers of variance.

Brazil Finance Partnership

  • Serve as a primary finance liaison between U.S. leadership and our Brazil entity, helping ensure alignment across financial planning, reporting, and operational priorities.

  • Support communication and coordination between teams to ensure financial data, assumptions, and insights are clearly understood across regions.

  • Provide analysis and guidance related to Brazil operations, including performance trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Help ensure that financial planning processes and reporting standards remain consistent across international operations.

Analysis, Modeling & Business Insights

  • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business leaders.

  • Analyze financial results, key performance indicators, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to evaluate pricing changes, operational investments, and strategic initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with leaders across sales, operations, services, marketing, and other business units to support planning and decision-making.

  • Work closely with accounting and finance reporting teams to ensure alignment between planning, reporting, and actual financial performance.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by translating financial results into actionable insights.

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Improve financial planning processes, reporting workflows, and analytical tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Develop standardized templates and documentation that strengthen the company’s FP&A capabilities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data integration, automation, and financial visibility across the organization.

Executive-Level Communication

  • Prepare and present financial insights, forecasts, and performance updates to finance leadership and executive stakeholders.

  • Deliver clear and concise analysis that highlights business drivers and supports strategic decisions.

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.

  • 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or strategic finance.

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with business leaders and operational teams.

  • Fluency in Portuguese required, including the ability to speak, read, and write professionally in order to effectively communicate with and support the Brazil-based team and stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting international operations or multinational business environments.

  • Familiarity with business intelligence or planning tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.

  • Experience in technology, SaaS, engineering, or manufacturing industries is beneficial.
