Middle School Associate at Christ Community Chapel – Hudson, Ohio

The Middle School Associate at Christ Communication Chapel (CCC) will serve as a highly relational, evangelistically driven leader focused on reaching and gathering middle school students. This role is responsible for building meaningful connections with students, creating environments where students want to invite their friends, and implementing engaging events and weekly programming. This is a full-time position reporting to the Students Director.

Responsibilities:

• Lead evangelistic efforts by actively building relationships with middle school students, especially those not yet connected to church.
• Create a culture where students are consistently inviting their friends and bringing others with them.
• Be a visible and consistent presence in students’ lives through intentional contact, invitations, and relational follow-up.
• Gather and engage large groups of middle school students on a monthly basis through events and outreach-focused environments.
• Plan and lead a weekly middle school service that is engaging, relevant, and accessible to both churched and unchurched students.
• Build and sustain a ministry that utilizes at least 50% high school student volunteers.
• Recruit, train, develop, and support leaders to expand the reach and impact of the ministry.
• Partner with 5th and 6th grade programming and high school ministry to ensure continuity and strong student transitions.
• Execute clear and effective communication for the ministry.
• Complete all assigned administrative responsibilities.
• Engage with and support parents in the discipleship of their students.

Requirements:

• A genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, with a passion for reaching students who do not yet know Him.
• Strong relational instincts and a natural ability to connect with and gather students.
• A clear gifting in evangelism and a heart to see students take next steps toward Jesus.
• Experience in student ministry or a similar relational environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A life marked by biblical character, integrity, and spiritual maturity.
