Position Summary

The Quality Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that all manufacturing processes and products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems aligned with ISO 9000 standards and industry best practices. The Quality Manager leads cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and ensure customer satisfaction through superior product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Lead supplier quality assurance activities, including audits and performance management.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve process-related issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects focused on scrap reduction, efficiency, and process optimization using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Utilize statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Ensure production equipment functionality and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Serve as technical liaison with third-party vendors for equipment and quality-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements related to product quality.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven knowledge and application of ISO 9000 standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies and value stream mapping.
  • Spanish language skills (speak/write/translate) a strong plus.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis software and quality management systems.

  • Expertise in quality systems and ISO standards.
  • Supplier quality management and audit experience.
  • Statistical process control and manufacturing operations knowledge.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong documentation and training capabilities.
