The Role
As a Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Paramedic at Mercy Flights, you’ll do more than respond. You’ll:
- Deliver high-quality emergency and non-emergency medical care
- Participate in Mobile Integrated Health and community paramedicine initiatives

Work Environment & Schedule
Non-traditional care settings including patient homes and community locations
Shift work includes seven 12-hour shifts in a two-week period
Required Qualifications
Education: Associate degree in Paramedicine or equivalent education required for Oregon Paramedic licensure
Bachelor’s degree in health, human services, or related field preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years as a Paramedic/EMT-Intermediate on a 911 transporting ambulance or equivalent community health experience
- Behavioral or mental health experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Oregon Paramedic License or/ EMT-Intermediate License and National Registry Paramedic certification
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS or PEPP certifications required
- Community Health Worker (CHW) certification required within 12 months of hire
- Community Paramedic (CP-C) certification preferred
