WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Maintenance Assistant will spend approximately 70% of the time performing grounds keeping duties of all properties. This responsibility includes grass mowing, trimming, trash removal, tree cutting, brush and debris removal, snow and ice removal, using power wash equipment, and learning preventative maintenance on equipment. The Maintenance Assistant will spend approximately 30% of the time completing maintenance requests and supporting the maintenance team.

RESPONSIBILITIESPerform grounds keeping duties of all properties Grass mowing, trimming, tree cutting, brush, debris trash removalPerform snow and ice removalUsing power wash equipmentLearn preventative maintenance on various equipmentMaintenance requests from internal customers Aid and support maintenance team WHAT YOU’LL NEEDHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAbility to pass a drug screen, background check and DOT Physical Valid driver’s license and safe driving recordKnowledge of safe work methods with the ability to pull trailers and load/unload equipment safelyAny combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as describedExperience in building maintenance and repair and/or building trades preferredAbility to work in confined or elevated spaces and in various types of weather conditionsProven ability to follow instructions and prioritize workExperience using GPSBasic computer skills for email, timesheet entry and ticketing system logs Ability to perform a variety of physical labor, including but not limited to: climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying boxes, tools, equipment and materials
