Housekeeper at MAUI RESORT RENTALS INC – Lahaina, Hawaii

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to support the daily operations of our vacation rental properties. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience through cleanliness, responsiveness, and teamwork. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes pride in a job well done, and enjoys working in a dynamic hospitality environment.

DUTIES

As Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Execute daily cleans and assigned tasks on time while meeting quality standards and expectations of the company.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Guest Experience teams to address and fulfill guest needs.
• Perform various types of cleaning tasks as assigned, including:
  • Departure Cleanings – Thorough cleans between guest stays
  • Tidy Service – Mid-stay refreshes and general tidying
  • Towel/Linen Refreshes – Restocking and changing of towels and linens
  • Deep Cleans – Periodic intensive cleanings of properties
• Report maintenance issues using proprietary company app
• Communicate with Engineers and Houseman to ensure all guest and owner needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure it's tidied before the end of each shift.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

The following skills & competencies will be required as Housekeeper:

• Efficiently prioritize tasks and complete work within scheduled timeframes while maintaining company standards
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods for different materials
• Safe handling of cleaning products and materials
• Detail orientated and thorough
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Able to perform consistent work to the highest of standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 20lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to kneel, bend and crawl
• Able to squat and crouch
• Able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
