The Manager of People and Talent plays a critical role in advancing a people-first culture and executing core people programs across the organization. Reporting to the Director of People and Talent, this role partners closely with operational and business leaders to support workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and a positive employee experience.
This position focuses on translating enterprise people strategies into consistent, practical action. Responsibilities include supporting leaders through change, strengthening manager capability, and reinforcing people practices that are fair, thoughtful, and aligned with GreenArrow’s values and business priorities. The Manager helps ensure employees feel supported, respected, and clear on expectations as the organization continues to grow.
This role is based in St. Louis and works closely with leaders and teams across the organization.

How You’ll Make An Impact
Culture, Leadership, and Employee Experience
- Support and reinforce GreenArrow’s people-first culture through consistent people practices, leader partnership, and thoughtful execution.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen trust, communication, and accountability across teams and locations.
- Serve as a visible, trusted partner to leaders and employees across assigned locations.
People Strategy & Execution
- Execute people and talent initiatives aligned with enterprise standards and direction set by the Director of People and Talent.
- Partner with operating leaders to support workforce planning, staffing decisions, and leadership development needs.
Organization & Compensation Support
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of organizational structure by helping define roles, clarify career paths, and ensure positions are consistently understood across the organization.
- Support compensation processes, including market benchmarking, pay adjustments, and promotion recommendations, within established frameworks.
Employee Relations & Leader Support
- Guide leaders on employee relations matters, ensuring issues are addressed fairly, timely, and consistently.
Talent Development & Performance
- Support onboarding, performance management, and leadership development programs to reinforce clear expectations and accountability.
Integration & Systems
- Assist with acquisition integration by supporting the implementation of people practices and identifying local risks or gaps.
- Champion adoption and effective use of people systems and tools at the operating level.
Insights & Risk Awareness
- Monitor people-related data and trends, escalating concerns or risks to the Director of People and Talent as appropriate.
What You Bring
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources or people and talent roles, with increasing responsibility in leadership or senior individual contributor positions.
- Experience supporting multi-site or operationally complex organizations preferred.
- Demonstrated success executing people programs that support business priorities and operational needs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree and/or professional HR certification preferred.
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of core HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance.
- Ability to partner effectively with leaders and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Clear, professional communication skills, with the ability to explain people concepts in practical terms.
- Sound judgment, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
