Who We Are

Samsung HME America (Healthcare and Medical Equipment) is Samsung’s U.S. medical imaging organization, delivering advanced diagnostic solutions across Ultrasound, Digital Radiography, and Computed Tomography. We lead nationwide sales, marketing, service, and distribution of Samsung’s imaging technologies, partnering with healthcare providers to strengthen diagnostic capabilities, streamline clinical workflows, and support better patient care. Samsung HME America also serves as the global manufacturing center for Samsung’s mobile Computed Tomography (mCT) business, leading the development of advanced CT systems used by healthcare providers worldwide.

Backed by Samsung Electronics’ global technology leadership, our teams work closely with clinicians to translate real-world challenges into innovative imaging solutions. Our culture combines a sense of urgency, customer focus, and clinical collaboration to advance the future of medical imaging.

Role Description

The Account Executive will direct sales of capital medical equipment, products, and services (excluding pharmaceuticals), with average sale prices from $300K – $1M, across a large multi-state territory. Promote the sale of imaging equipment, accessories, and service direct to academic medical centers, community hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and outpatient specialized care facilities.

Key duties and responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:

  • Coordinate with Customer Service regarding client issues to ensure fast and accurate resolution
  • Call on and communicate value propositions effectively to a broad range of stakeholders — including physicians, hospital and service-line administrators, medical physicists, technologists, clinical engineering, materials management, and supply chain — to create awareness of and drive demand for the company's products
  • Complete pre and post-sales technical product advice for the development and implementation of customer solutions
  • Prepare and present detailed technical proposals including on-site product demonstrations (sometimes in the presence of patients and patient family members) and implement a customer needs plan to assure potential sale is feasible within cost, time and environment constraints
  • Conduct in-services, seminars, and demonstrations as necessary to groups of professionals
  • Engage with confidence and clinical credibility across multiple physician subspecialties — including Neurosurgeons, Neuroradiologists, Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Thoracic Surgeons, Oncologists, and Radiation Therapists — tailoring the clinical and economic value proposition to each audience
  • Learn the company's products as well as the competitor's products to better promote the company's product line
