Position Overview:

As a Medical Delivery Technician, you’ll be at the front line of our service model that is responsible for the delivery, setup, maintenance, and repair of Rehab Medical’s custom advanced mobility equipment. You’ll work directly with patients, therapists, and Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) to ensure mobility equipment is functioning safely and customized to patient needs.

This position is also part of our ATP Career Path, designed to guide technicians from entry-level roles to certified ATP support and beyond.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Range: $18 – $28 per hour
  • Compensation is based on experience, performance, and certifications
  • Advancement to ATP Support role

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering consumer or medical equipment (preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot, repair, and set up complex power chairs
  • Basic computer and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients while maintaining professionalism, respect and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, assemble, and troubleshoot mobility and complex rehab equipment (power chairs, wheelchairs, etc.)
  • Perform in-home or facility-based setup and servicing of equipment
  • Assist ATPs with assessments and recommendations to meet patient needs
  • Perform repairs and order service parts in coordination with purchasing
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and delivery paperwork
  • Monitor inventory and maintain workspace organization
  • Complete required continuing education and internal certifications
  • Serve as a positive and professional representative of Rehab Medical to patients and care providers
