About This Position
The Assistant Volleyball Coach will provide assistance to the Head Coach of a women’s intercollegiate volleyball team.
- Assist with team management, daily practices, game preparation and video exchange.
- Assist in coordinating the proper and timely issue and return of uniforms and other equipment.
- Assist in ensuring adequate physical conditioning and skill development of volleyball athletes.
- Assist in financial travel disbursements and remittances.
- Assist with team fundraising events.
- Assist in recruiting and scouting.
- Assist in the supervision and conduct of players during the academic year.
- Attend meetings relevant to the volleyball program.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Head Coach.
MANDATORY: Experience as a volleyball player and one to three years of high school or college level assistant coaching experience; or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the abilities to perform the duties. Effective organizational and verbal/written communication skills. Must be or become familiar with NWAC (Northwest Athletic Conference) code.
SPECIAL: Valid driver’s license. Must complete in-house passenger van certification for team travel.
This is a part-time, Professional, exempt position. The annual salary is $5,000. This amount may be prorated for date of hire or date of termination.
