Job Summary

The Regional Marketing Manager is a key strategic leader responsible for driving brand growth and market penetration across the US region. Moving beyond traditional execution, this role focuses on the high-level development of localized marketing strategies and the optimization of our distributor and partner ecosystem. This includes developing, executing, and monitoring local marketing strategies across the US region to optimize marketing events and raise company awareness. The manager must be able to gain a thorough understanding of our products and services, work with a multitude of stakeholders and represent ACROBiosystems in a professional manner while positively shaping the ACROBiosystems’ identity, profile, and visibility within the life science community. This position must also be able to work the occasional night and/or weekend, to provide on-site events and internal team support.

  • Lead the development and execution of regional marketing strategies that align with global brand objectives while maximizing local market penetration and ROI.
  • Manage and optimize relationships with US-based distributors and partners, providing them with the strategic tools, co-marketing programs, and brand guidance necessary to hit regional sales targets.
  • Coordinate related logistics related to trade shows/events; connect with different vendors and carriers to ensure the events run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with digital and creative teams to launch localized, multi-channel campaigns (social, web, email) tailored to regional regulations and cultural nuances.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on customer behavior and competitor movements to identify market gaps, assess positioning, and inform long-term strategic planning.
  • Transform complex regional market data and KPI metrics into actionable insights and executive-level presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee high-impact regional activations including online and offline channels, ensuring they serve as strategic touchpoints for brand awareness rather than just logistical exercises.
  • Supervise and mentor regional marketing staff, fostering a culture of professional growth, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Travel up to 30-40% depending on the offline events frequency.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in life science or related discipline required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors.

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of B2B or B2C marketing experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Passionate about the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry and aligned with company values.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing solutions and applications such as Salesforce, Adobe, Canva and Constant Contact, or other similar tools; as well as Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership, stress resistance, with an innovation mindset.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop strategic vision and execute resulting plans.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Project management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders globally.
  • Willing to travel to marketing events and activities across the US.
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 base salary + bonus DOE

Location:
San Diego, CA or San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
