Stock Clerk at Orcas Island Market Inc – EASTSOUND, Washington

The Stock Clerk / Grocery Clerk is responsible for stocking shelves, rotating product, maintaining clean and organized aisles, and assisting customers with product location and basic questions. This role supports daily store operations and contributes directly to customer satisfaction.

• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with accuracy and attention to presentation
  
• Rotate product using FIFO standards and check dates for freshness
  
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized aisles and backstock areas
  
• Assist customers in locating products and answering basic questions
  
• Support inventory control, facing, and merchandising standards
  
• Follow safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques
  
• Assist other departments as needed during busy periods

Schedule & Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs for extended periods
  
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
