Position Overview:

The General Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of existing

provider and account records. This role supports the onboarding department by processing accounts

updates, managing provider changes, and resolving account-related issues. The position requires a

detail-oriented professional who can ensure data security, prevent discrepancies record, and

coordinate updates across departments to maintain smooth operations.

Hours 10AM-6PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

· Account Maintenance and Data Entry:

o Assist with adding and removing providers, processing account updates, and updating documentation.

o Update provider privileges and state licenses, ensuring accuracy and authorization.

o Review accounts to prevent crossover errors and maintain secure data.

· Compliance and Confidentiality:

o Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and pharmacy regulations.

o Ensure all account records are accurate and securely stored in Salesforce and other internal systems.

· Communication and Coordination:

o Provide detailed updates and account information upon request from internal teams or clients.

o Communicate account changes to relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.

· Administrative Support:

o Resolve account errors and discrepancies, escalating issues as necessary.

o Update product offerings and account documentation as needed.

· System Maintenance:

o Utilize pharmacy and CRM systems to input and retrieve account data.

o Report technical issues or inaccuracies to IT or the appropriate department.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team and with other teams within the company.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or equivalent (required)

· Associate’s degree in business, accounting or similar or minimum of 2 years’ experience in billing, accounts receivable and/or accounting type roles.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel/Google Sheets functions.

· Salesforce experience preferred.

· Familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting software.

· Experience with pharmaceutical pricing models and regulations.

· Experience in pricing, billing, or pharmacy operations preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Sitting for prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· May require working shifts, depending on the pharmacy’s operating hours and business needs.

· Shifts are Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm.
