Position Overview: A Retail Gas Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines, appliances, and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of gas safety, technical expertise, and the ability to work in various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain gas lines, pipes, and fittings.
• Inspect and test gas appliances and systems for leaks, malfunctions, and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve gas-related issues in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform routine maintenance on gas equipment, including cleaning and adjustments.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Provide clear and concise explanations of work performed to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up to date on industry standards.
Requirements:Requirements:
• Must have 1 year of Gas residential installer experience.
• Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report.
• Must possess the ability to own and use power tools to effectively execute plumbing jobs
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift objects safely over 50 pounds, climbing, standing and kneeling.
• Ability to wear company approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal or OSHA regulations.
• Valid gas technician license or certification (where required).
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
