Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Financial Analyst/Finance Transformation at GDIT. Here, you'll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Finance.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
This role is ideal for finance professionals looking to build modern analytical skills while contributing to a large-scale transformation initiative. You will drive reporting modernization efforts, develop meaningful insights, and support Finance teams as they transition to modern tools, automation workflows and enhanced analytics environments.
Financial Modeling & Analytics
• Develop and maintain financial models that support forecasting, planning, and performance analysis.
• Build clear, insight-driven dashboards that highlight trends, variances, and operational drivers.
• Use visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to design standardized reporting components.
• Work closely with the Senior Manager to enhance Oracle EPM reporting capabilities and strengthen data quality across Finance.
Narrative Reporting & Automation
• Support the development of automated narrative reporting packages, ensuring consistency and clarity in corporate reporting.
• Maintain and refine the technical components that power automated content assembly.
Modernizing Management Reporting
• Participate in the design and rollout of automated management reporting suites that reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
• Help transition legacy reporting processes into scalable, repeatable, and data-driven solutions.
Training, Enablement & Community Engagement
• Serve as an instructor and peer resource for Finance team members adopting new visualization and reporting tools.
• Support training sessions, community forums, and enablement activities that promote data literacy and standardized analytics practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your finance expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Financial Analyst must have:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Data analytics/reporting experience. Familiarity with the Oracle EPM suite highly preferred, training available), AI literacy and strong analytical curiosity.

• Role requirements: Ability to communicate clearly and translate technical concepts into actionable insights. Comfortable presenting to large groups; able to facilitate discussions and support Finance teams. Strong problem-solving skills, customer service mindset, and interest in technical tools.
• Hybrid work schedule with 3 days/week on-site

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
