Job Description
Location: Remote, Nigeria | (Remote)
Responsibilities:
Role and Key Responsibilities
- Creating and designing communication materials in consultation with Country Program needs.
- Managing the design and the production of all communications and marketing materials under the direction of the Deputy Regional Director and Regional Communications Officer, and in conjunction with program teams, adhering to planned production schedules and approved estimated costs.
- Creating various marketing materials such as factsheets, booklets, annual reports, flyers, event materials, posters, banners, etc., and creating visual content for platforms like Facebook, X, and the CRS website.
- Working with datasets to create visually appealing infographics and other data visualization products.
- Customizing the format and design of various documents (such as PPT presentations, strategies, technical reports, etc.) to align with CRS' branding guidelines.
- Developing archived photos into multimedia products, and reviewing and updating existing documents for design and branding consistency.
- Upholding design quality standards and maintaining consistent branding across all materials.
Required Languages: Proficient in communication and writing in English and French
Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of design
- Working knowledge of print, web, and social media design.
- Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

- Understanding of / previous experience in the humanitarian and development sectors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in journalism/communications preferred
- Knowledge of basic video editing is a strong plus
- Advanced document design experience a plus
- Experience in speechwriting is strongly preferred.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or other graphics-related degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design, layout, and data visualization production
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, etc.), as well as Canva
