What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead Catering Operations: Oversee food service for special events, including banquets, receptions, and conferences, ensuring all events run smoothly, on time, and to the highest standard.
  • Collaborate on Event Planning: Work closely with Dining Services management to plan menus, coordinate event logistics, and ensure successful execution for all special group events.
  • Maintain Inventory & Equipment: Manage catering-related inventory, monitor equipment maintenance, and ensure all supplies are stocked and in working order.
  • Ensure Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards across food handling, service areas, and catering operations.
  • Customer Relations: Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring a positive experience at every event.

FLSA: Non-Exempt Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school graduation or equivalent.
  2. Two (2) years (24 months) of responsible work experience in food service that includes event planning within a catering environment.

Work Authorization Information: This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship.
