Manage all rehabilitation, expansion, and special projectsMaintain organized and efficient administrative and filing systems. Assign, verify and participate in the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in all areas Hire, train, and supervise staff and all independent contractors Maintain adequate staffing and schedules for hotel maintenance and upkeep, event setupMaintain appropriate supply of material and equipmentMaintain effective energy management and preventative maintenance programs, and when necessary, conduct special training for other departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.

High school diploma or equivalentAt least two years working experience in facility maintenanceEPA certification preferredBasic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentryActive driver’s licenseExcellent knowledge of electrical systems, components and devices, HVAC systems, boilers, mechanical systems and the maintenance and repair of allExcellent knowledge of public construction and building systems and codes; all related permits, licenses and existing codes pertaining to public building and fire safety
