We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to develop high-quality scientific communication materials that support clinical and marketing initiatives. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with clinical teams, statisticians, and marketing colleagues to prepare manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and literature summaries that accurately convey scientific data. The ideal candidate will help shape the data dissemination strategy, ensuring timely delivery of impactful materials while maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor and clarity. You will have the opportunity to influence communication across multiple channels, contribute to publication planning, and work in a dynamic environment that values precision, collaboration, and innovation. Accountabilities:
  • Create and manage scientific communications content for manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and literature summaries
  • Ensure timely completion of communication deliverables while meeting stakeholder expectations
  • Critically evaluate clinical data and translate findings into clear, concise, and scientifically accurate summaries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, marketing, and creative teams to achieve data dissemination goals
  • Support publication planning, including journal selection, conference submissions, and impact analysis
  • Maintain and update literature libraries and conduct ongoing literature surveillance in relevant therapeutic areas
  • Adhere to quality management systems, regulatory standards, and compliance principles in all deliverables
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in science, health, or related field with 5+ years of medical writing or clinical/scientific research experience; MS or PhD preferred
  • Proven experience in medical writing within biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated industries
  • Strong command of scientific and clinical content with a clear, concise writing style
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in written materials
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with clinical research regulations, guidelines, and standards a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams
