Cath lab tech / LVN, EMT-P - North at Hendrick Medical Center – Abilene, Texas

JOB SUMMARY

• Performs all required procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and operates specialized equipment including, but not limited to, the computer system, hemodynamic monitoring, and have working knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an appropriate accredited program or health science degree preferred
• Minimum Work Experience
  • LVN, EMT-P, ARRT, or 2 years consecutive cath lab experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications
  • BLS within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Answer telephones
  • Input data into computer programs
  • Compile statistics
  • Maintain patient charts
  • Previous diagnostic experience
  • Generate reports
  • Working knowledge of viewing equipment
  • Working knowledge of hemodynamic equipment and able to problem solve basic error messages
  • Working knowledge of sterile procedures
  • Must be operational in (2) positions within 1 year
