Compensation: $43.79-$80.11
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Endoscopy Nurse Float is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care throughout all phases of the endoscopy process—from pre-procedure assessment to post-procedure recovery and discharge. This role also includes floating to other clinical areas as needed including infusion and clinic triage. This role requires strong knowledge of patient care in procedural settings, proficient IV insertion skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a thorough understanding of current nursing standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Compassion, professionalism, and adaptability are essential, as is the ability to remain calm in challenging situations. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit are key to success in this role ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Build Trust: We exhibit integrity, transparency and compassion in every interaction.- Works closely with team members to ensure accurate assessment and delivery of the appropriate level of care for each patient

- Applies evidence-based practices and creative problem-solving to optimize patient outcomes and procedural efficiency Engages in open and transparent communication with leadership to address concerns and improve departmental performance

Actively contributes to process improvement and innovation projects within the department to optimize patient care delivery.
- Develops rapport with patients to ensure comfort, understanding and participation in their plan of care Promotes patient engagement through effective communication and support through all phases of care including patient scheduling and care coordination
- Provides safe administration of nurse sedation through adherence to clinical guidelines, patient monitoring and best practices
- Proficiency in patient monitoring and assessment to ensure safety, comfort and positive clinical outcomes throughout all phases of care Demonstrates calm and patient-focused care in urgent, emergent or unexpected clinical situations
- Clinical setting with exposure to patient care areas Exposure to procedural areas that may require use of personal protective equipment/devices
