Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Columbus, Indiana at Columbus Regional Health

What you need to know about this position:

• Our ultrasound department performs first trimester OB, abdomen and pelvic exams, thyroid, vascular(ABI, carotid, arterial duplex, and venous) minimal pediatric exams, and procedures such as FNA, paras/thoras.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $34.36. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This full-time position will require you to work 36 hours weekly, week 1: Monday and Tuesday, 11:30am-midnight and Friday 6:00am-6:30pm, week 2: Monday and Tuesday, 11:30am-midnight, Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm and Saturday, 8:00am-12:00pm, with a weekend, holiday and on-call rotation.
• What is required for this position:
• Minimum Education: Satisfactory completion of a formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent training to meet board eligibility requirements.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required. The required CE credits must be maintained in accordance with the accrediting bodies requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
