About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and capable Guest Services Team Member to support the Camp staff to warmly greet and support our guests from their initial check in right through to their departure. You’ll be pivotal in ensuring that our beautiful campsite is always prepared, welcoming, and well-maintained for every guest experience — playing a vital part in Scouts Victoria’s growth and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage all accommodation bookings operationally

• Liaise with Gilwell’s Sites & Services team to ensure facilities are prepared and ready

• Provide the ultimate of customer service experiences to guests throughout their stay

• Liasie with housekeeping and catering teams to ensure a positive guest experience

• Be an agile and creative problem solver

• Support administrative functions within the Camp Office

• Support Housekeeping and Adventure teams when/if required

• Be available weekends when/if required

• Support the adventure team as and when required.

• Uphold Scouts Victoria’s standards of child safety, inclusion, and ethical conduct.

About You
You are an organised and friendly person with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. You are used to working in a business operating 7 days a week and are not opposed to working on weekends and public holidays as and when required.

Required Qualifications and Checks

• Experience in a customer service environment

• Experience int he Hospitality industry (desired)

• Satisfactory Police Check

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Commitment to the Scouts Australia Code of Conduct for Adults in Scouting
