We're looking for a full-time Lead Barista to join our fun crew at Spinning Jenny's, the coffee bar in the lobby of The Lincoln Hotel in Biddeford. If you haven't been in to see what we have happening here, we invite you to come see what we are all about!

The Lincoln is equal parts urban resort and neighborhood hangout. If coffee is your thing, shoot us your resume. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to lead our team. As a Barista, you’ll play a crucial role in growing our business and creating welcoming experiences for our guests.

Job Summary

Coffee:

• Be the first friendly face our guests see when ordering their coffee in the morning!
• Operate our UNIC Mira espresso machine and prepare coffee and tea beverages with care.
• Educate customers about our drinks menu, make recommendations based on their preferences, and up-sell special items.

Creativity:

• Do you love to experiment and create special drinks? You will have the freedom to develop seasonal recipes.
• Propose breakfast and lunch food items that complement our beverage offerings.

Customer Service:

• Be the barista with a devoted following!
• Provide outstanding customer care by taking orders, ensuring timely delivery, and building relationships with our guests.
• Collaborate with other Lincoln team members to create an enjoyable lobby experience.

Quality Control:

• Maintain high standards for coffee quality, presentation, and taste.
• Ensure food items meet freshness and taste expectations.

Brand Growth:

• Contribute to the growth of the Spinning Jenny’s brand by embodying our values an division.
• Be open to learning and evolving with the cafe.
