Job Description
Provide nutrition-related care and education to outpatients, staff, and the community. Normal hours of work are 16-24 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics/nutrition or related field required
• Completion or near completion of Dietetic Internship in order to apply
• Master’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Fulfills the CDR requirements for continuing education.
• Previous experience preferred, but not required • Must be Registered or Registry – eligible (CDR)
• Ohio Licensure: o Registered Dietician must obtain Ohio licensure prior to the first of employment o Registry eligible individuals must obtain a temporary Ohio license prior to the first day of employment [Registry eligible individuals are allowed 2 opportunities or 6 months, whichever comes first, to pass CDR’s registration exam, to remain employed with Holzer.]
