Location: Prince George, BC
Employment Type: Full-time, 35 Hours Per Week

The Opportunity:
- Oversee the day-to-day activities and supervision of staff at the Youth Centre
- Develops and implements youth programming, including outreach
- Perform a full range of supervisory duties including recruiting and training new workers, providing consultation to staff, monitoring performance, developing staff and setting and monitoring practice standards
- Identify training needs to ensure team members acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to work effectively within the multidisciplinary delivery teams

What You Will Bring to The Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work or equivalent degree in a related field; or
- A diploma in Child and Youth Care or Social Work with at least five (5) years experience in a Youth Services role
- A combination of education and extensive experience may be considered

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $42.4463 to $54.9691. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
