JOB SUMMARY:

The main purpose of our Conveyor System Estimators is to achieve our objectives by requesting bids from suppliers, anticipating specific requirements for new projects, and ensuring the scope is captured in an estimating program to develop an accurate proposal and successfully win new projects.

A successful estimator is defined by the following essential criteria:

1. Data Driven, Fact Based
2. On Time – Meeting or exceeding customer requests
3. Quality – Detail Oriented
4. Self Starter

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pre Contract project costs pricing objectives
• Utilize tools to create bid comparisons
• Build and develop vendor relations and strategies
• Select appropriate vendors for bidding specific needs
• Develop RFQ documentation for vendors and suppliers
• Develop budgetary cost models
• Setup proposals consistently and ensure the customer expectations are exceeded
• Able to read and understand customer requirements
• Solution Oriented
• Strong Communication Skills
• Competent in risk mitigation and critical path planning

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read and understand specifications, RFP’s, as well as bid drawings to understand scope of work.??
• Ability to travel to job sites to determine site conditions.?
• Is detail-oriented and organized; and capable of performing work that is consistent, accurate and self-verified.?
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving required
• Strong communicator (verbal and written) with attention to detail.
• Excellent collaborator and influencer

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in years of experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in estimating
• MS Office (Proficient in Excel)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
