PRE-SUIT CASE MANAGER at Rue & Ziffra – Port Orange, Florida

Growing, very busy personal injury law firm looking for an experienced Pre-Suit Case Manager. The Case Manager (Paralegal) plays a crucial role in the handling of our cases, therefore, we are looking for an experienced, organized candidate with a minimum of 7 years of law firm experience, including at least 5 years of experience as a Case Manager (Paralegal). Duties include:

• Assist attorney(s) as needed in all aspects of the case.
• Diligent file documentation.
• Secure all needed documentation to evaluate and develop the case.
• Draft professional correspondence to involved parties.
• Expertly guide clients through the legal process.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, etc.
• Scheduling of meetings, mediations, conferences, etc.
• Prepare for and sometimes draft pre-suit demands to insurance companies.
• Prepare for litigation as needed.
• Supervise one or more Legal Assistants as they handle the day-to-day needs of our clients and their cases.
