Job Description
The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time School Resource Officer position. Applicants must possess current VADCJS law enforcement certification. Salary commensurate with experience, and to be discussed at interview.

Applicants must:
Possess current VADCJS law enforcement certification
Be at least 18 years of age (21 if applying for deputy sheriff positions)
Hold a high school diploma, GED, or higher degree (Associate degree preferred)
Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Be technically skilled in applicable equipment
Provide exemplary customer service to students, faculty, and the community
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Consent to an extensive background investigation
Be in good physical condition
Maintain a favorable driving record
Successfully meet all training requirements
