Sr. Controller at LEGACY FRANCHISE SHARED SERVICES LLC – Atlanta, Georgia

We’re hiring a Senior Controller to lead accounting operations across our fast growing brand. If you’re energized by systems, structure, and scalable solutions and you’re ready to guide a talented team that includes a Controller; this is your next move.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the general ledger, leading AP/AR and employee expense functions, and ensuring strong internal controls, audit readiness, and accurate reporting. You’ll be the most senior accounting leader in the organization, acting as the go-to for operational accounting excellence.

• Lead all day-to-day accounting functions across multiple legal entities
• Manage and develop a team that includes a Controller, AR/AP staff, and accounting specialists
• Oversee accurate month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Own the AP, AR, and employee reimbursement processes and ensure policy compliance
• Prepare for and support financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
• Strengthen internal controls and enforce consistent, GAAP-compliant practices
• Improve systems and workflows to increase clarity, consistency, and scalability
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and Brand teams on shared initiative

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); CPA or Master’s preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller; team leadership required
• Experience in multi-entity or franchise environments highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and audit preparation
• Confident leader with a strong coaching mindset and systems-thinking approach
• Proficient in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or comparable platforms
• Clear communicator who builds trust and drives accountability
