Job Overview:
The Application Analyst IV plays a critical role in supporting the design, build, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise applications. As a senior-level expert, this individual serves as a key resource for both analyst team members and operational stakeholders. Working independently, the Application Analyst IV ensures that all tasks and projects are prioritized and executed in alignment with management directives.
This role involves performing complex application configurations, managing installations and upgrades, and leading the creation and execution of test scripts. The Application Analyst IV is also responsible for documenting outcomes, troubleshooting advanced issues, and coordinating customer support activities with a high level of autonomy and expertise.
In addition to technical responsibilities, this role requires strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve build or customer issues, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate concerns when necessary. The Application Analyst IV also participates in on-call support during go-live events and throughout the application’s lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Required:

Associate s degree with five or more years of relevant work experience
-
6+ years prior system build experience
-
2+ years of relevant experience functioning in a leadership capacity with leading teams and workgroups

Knowledge of current clinical financial system workflows and processes
-
Demonstrated ability to support and develop the application and mentor others

Ability to handle complex work independently

Responsibilities:

Designing and building the related application.

Coordinates with Operations to optimize the design of the application s capabilities and workflows.

Utilizes external resources for best practice builds and solutions
-
Performing a thorough review of all Foundation Build and operational requested content and workflows for application

Investigates, documents, and evaluates current state workflows as it pertains to build and offers technology solutions for workflow enhancements in collaboration with analyst peers, training staff and other stakeholders

Building data fields, screens, templates, and customer-defined functionality, as required
-
Collaborates with the training team and others to ensure alignment between the proposed training curriculum and the system build

Oversees and/or performs analysis of necessary application modifications
-
Takes initiative to offer solutions to complex issues research performed
-
Following build standards and maintaining synchronization between environments in collaboration with environment team
-
Works with minimal to no supervision, demonstrates initiative and demonstrates self-direction
-
Acts as a resource for all analysts on the team

Identifies topics for Change Readiness demo s and creates documentation
